Call for Peace

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Niqab

WHY NIQAB (Veil) IS AN OBLIGATION

FOR WOMEN

?

Brothers and Sisters!

Assalam o Alleyykum!

  • The question arises what is a woman’ and why she is required to cover her whole body whether she is on her own, with her parents, children, friends, maids, strangers except under certain circumstances?

  • In Arabic’ language woman is termed ‘Aur’at’. The literal meaning of ‘Aur’at’ is to cover the parts of body which are unethical to expose. This applies to both men and women. In technical sense Aur’at’ means the opposite sex of a man.
  • The literal meanings of ‘Veil’ as per Oxford English Reference dictionary are:

    • a piece of usu.
    • more or less transparent fabric attached to a woman’s hat, etc. especially to conceal the face or protect against the sun, dust etc.

    • a piece of linen etc. as part of nun’s head-dress, resting on the head and shoulders,

    • a curtain, especially, that separating the sanctuary in the Jewish Temple,

    • a disguise; a pretext; a thing that conceals (under the veil of friendship; a veil of mist),

    • huskiness of voice,

    • cover with veil

    • beyond the veil in the unknown state of life after death.
  • ‘Huskiness’ means:
    • (of a person or voice) dry in throat; hoarse, dry as husk, tough, strong, hefty

Brothers and Sisters!

  • With the Grace of Allah, in view of the state of the world which is on the move towards the opposite direction of Guidance’ of Allah the project: Call for Peace is trying to deal with the issues which create disparity’, ‘sufferings’, ‘abuse’, etc. in day to day lives of the people of all religions: Islam, Judaism, Christianity and otherwise.

  • The project: Call for Peace is not on the scene as yet, but the name has reached, virtually, all over the world. The reason it has not come on the scene is that people have become used to the Paganistic’ way of life and they do not want to listen about the way of life, Deen e Islam, where Allah has asked the mankind to live their lives accordingly.

Recent observations of the statement of Jack Straw the Leader of the House of Commons, previously Home and Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom has motivated to write this article.

  • The readers must be pondering what is ‘Paganistic’ way of life?

  • The literal meanings of Pagan’ are:

    • a person not subscribing to any of the main religions of the world, especially, formerly regarded by Christians as unenlightened or heathen.

    • of or relating to or associated with pagans,

    • irreligious,

    • identifying divinity or spirituality in nature: pantheistic

  • The literal meanings of Pantheistic’ are:

    • the belief the God is identifiable with the forces of nature and natural substances,

    • worship that admits or tolerate all gods.

  • The literal meanings of Pantheon’ are:

    • A temple dedicated to all gods, especially, the circular one still standing in Rome, erected in the early 2nd century AD probably on the site of an earlier one built by Agrippa in 27 BC.

    • The deities of a people collectively,

    • A building in which the illustrious dead are buried or have memorials. Especially the former church of St Genevieve (the Pantheon) in Paris which in some respects resembles the Pantheon in Rome.

In short, as per the literal meanings of Pagan, the Paganistic way of life means where the life style is opposite of the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophets of Allah.

  • The scholars are of the opinion on the basis of the revelation in the Qur’an that Pagan’s belief is that the life of this world is all in all and there is no life after death.

Translation Surah Ad Dukhan Ayat no 34 to 36

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying:

“There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected.

Then bring back our forefathers, if you speak the truth!”

  • From the Ayat: “There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected, the substance can be derived that the non believers assume that as there is no life after death, so they ought to secure as much enjoyment as they can from this worldly life.

  • The history of Pagans comes to light when St Paul preached Christianity in Rome. The film ‘Up Pompeii’ reveals the day to day life of the people where their way of life was luxurious.

  • Let us see what Pompeii was as per the Oxford English Reference Dictionary:

Pompeii:

An ancient city in western Italy, south east of Naples. The life of the city came to an abrupt end following an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, as described by Pliny the Younger.

The city lay buried for centuries beneath several meters of volcanic ash until excavations of the site began in 1748. The well-preserved remains of the city include not only buildings and mosaics but wall-painting, furniture, graffiti, and the personal possessions of its inhabitants, providing an unusually vivid insight into the life, art, and architecture of the ancient Roman period.

  • It appears that from the: and the personal possessions of its inhabitants, providing an unusually vivid insight into the life, art, and architecture of the ancient Roman period the historians constructed the way of life of the inhabitants that led to producing the film: Up Pompeii.

  • Allah (SWT) created the mankind that He (SWT) be recognised. The nearest meaning of Hadith e Qudsi is:

  • Allah said to the Prophet Mohammed (SAW):

I was a hidden Treasure,

I wished to be recognised.

So I created Jinn and Inss.

(Mankind and Spirits)

  • The mankind was to put in a test where it has to be judged if he will recognise Allah (SWT). The criteria of recognition’ of Allah can be judged by the context of the following Hadith:

  • Allah (SWT) created ‘Hell’.

    • Allah (SWT) asked the Angel Gibra’iel to go and observe the ‘Hell’.

    • Angel Gibra’iel observed the ‘Hell’. When he came back Allah (SWT) asked his remarks.

    • Angel Gibra’iel passed his remarks:

any creation will do anything, which it will have to do, to save itself from the torments and hardships of the ‘Hell’.

    • Allah (SWT) covered the ‘Hell with the ‘lusts’ which satisfy the ‘Sensual Appetite’ of the human mind.

    • Allah (SWT) asked Angel Gibra’iel again to observe the ‘Hell’.

    • Angel Gibra’iel remarked:

There is a seldom hope that anybody could save

himself from the fire of Hell.

  • Allah (SWT) created ‘Paradise’.

    • Allah (SWT) asked Angel Gibra’iel to observe ‘Paradise’.

    • Angel Gibra’iel came back, after observation of the ‘Paradise’ and said:

    • Anybody will do his best to secure a place in the ‘Paradise’.

    • Allah (SWT) covered the Paradise’ with worships, morals, and responsibilities and asked Angel Gibra’iel to observe the ‘Paradise’, now.

    • Angel Gibra’iel observed the ‘Paradise’ and said:

Now there is a seldom hope that anybody will be able

to secure a place in the ‘Paradise’.

  • The scholars derive from the substance of the above Hadith is:

    • Where human being will overcome the lustful element in his nature and disposition and follow the Guidance of Allah, he will considered to have recognised Allah (SWT).

    • Where the human being gives in to his lustful desires and wishes he is not considered to recognise Allah (SWT).

  • The Scholars further elaborate the substance of the above Hadith:

            `

    • When human being recognises Allah, then he is said to believe on the Lone Entity of Allah (SWT).

    • When human being does not recognise Allah he is said not to have a belief in the Lone Entity of Allah (SWT).

  • Further elaboration of the above is:

    • When human being recognises Allah (SWT) he is a Muslim.

    • When human being does not recognises Allah he is Kafir i.e. Pagan.

Brothers and Sisters!

  • THE SUBJECT MATTER IS: ‘NIQAB, VEIL, AND HIJAB’ FOR WOMEN. THEREFORE LET US SEE WHERE THE ‘RECOGNITION’ OF ALLAH IS APPLICABLE IN THIS CONTEXT.

  • As per narrations Allah (SWT) created Hazrat Adam (PBUH). But he was alone and used to wander around on his own where he got bored. He complained to Allah (SWT) about his loneliness. Allah (SWT) created his counterpart from his rib and given the name Haw’wa. The scholar say that Hazrat Adam (PBUH) were warned that he has to look after his counterpart in every respect and not to abuse her as she has been created with enormous qualities.

  • Let us see what the status of a woman:

  • A woman is:

    • Daughter
    • Sister
    • wife,
    • mother,

  • individually and severely.

    • First her role starts as a daughter.

    • Second she becomes a sister.

  • Third she becomes a wife.

  • Fourth she becomes a mother.

Brothers and Sisters!

  • The scholars have derived from the Teachings of the Qur’an that the first requirement of the human beings in their day to day life is to cover their bodies. This can be judged that when one gets up in the morning, the first thing he does is to dress him to save his body from the cold, hot and polluted atmosphere. If he does not do so he gets psychologically disturbed and he cannot use his abilities and faculties in appropriate manner.

The man and woman are contrary to each other in the sense that when they look at each other their sexual desires are aroused. When their sexual desires are aroused the heart wants to fulfil his sexual appetite and the mind starts to think the way how the opposite sex could be seduced. In this manner the basic object of life i.e. duties and responsibilities is disturbed where the flaws start to occur that lead to disparity, unrest, problems etc. in ones life and that in turn spread within the vicinity and gradually the whole world gets entangled in it.

  • When Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and Hazrat Haw’wa (RTU) were asked to live in Heavens they were dressed in the dress of piety where their bodies were covered.

  • The scholars have derived from the Teachings of the Qur’an that there was no sexual act between them while they were living in heavens. They were enjoying each other’s company and the mode of their conversation was to Praise the attributes of Allah (SWT) likewise the Angels.

When Iblis (Satan) lured them to eat the fruit of the tree where they were Commanded by Allah (SWT) not even to go near to that tree, the first thing that happened was that the dress of piety immediately came off and their whole bodies were exposed to each other and immediately what they did was to cover their private parts with the leafs of the tree.

  • The scholars elaborate that that was the time when their sexual desires aroused when they looked at each other’s bodies.

  • The scholars elaborate the Heaven is a place where only people with dress of piety can live. Because Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and Haw’wa (RTU) had committed a crime, though unknowingly, so for their punishment they were sent in this world to erase and wipe away the effects and impact of the sin before they could come back to live in Heaven.

  • The scholars elaborate that to erase and wipe away the effect and impact of the sins, one has to live his life in accordance with the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophets who are commissioned for the guidance of the mankind.

  • To save the mankind getting involved in sinful way of life Allah (SWT) has given Guidance that runs as follows:-

  • when a child is born he is covered with impious and dirty lubricants. The teachings are:

    • that he should be given a bath as soon as possible,

    • his head should shaved off as the hair are impious,

    • he should be dressed in clean clothes,

    • Azza’an should be recited in his right ear and Takbeer in his left ear,

    • A pious man should chew something sweet and a little piece should be put on his pallet in his mouth,

    • preferably, on the seventh day, lambs should be scarified in the name of Allah to protect him from the pollution where he can indulge in mischievous activities.

  • The scholars have derived from the Teachings of the Qur’an supported by the lives of the Prophets that the basic reason for the digression of mankind from the Guidance of Allah (SWT) is the satisfaction of sexual desires.

  • The scholars elaborate that sexual appetite is combination of many elements i.e.

    • to look at one another,

    • to talk with one another,

  • to listen sexual stories,

  • to read sexual stories,

  • to browse each other’s bodies,

  • to touch each other’s bodies,

  • to have sexual intercourse

  • etc.

  • Allah (SWT) has revealed Guidance in His Books that to satisfy the above elements of sexual appetite enter into wedlock.

  • To save the mankind from indulging in illegal sexual activities, Allah (SWT) has determined relations with one another i.e.

    • father,

    • mother,

  • son,

  • daughter,

  • brother,

  • sister,

  • uncle,

  • aunt,

  • nephew,

  • niece

  • etc.

  • These are the relations where the marriage cannot take place between any of them i.e.

    • father cannot marry his daughter,

    • mother cannot marry his son,

  • brother cannot marry his sister,

  • uncle cannot marry his niece,

  • aunt cannot marry her nephew,

  • etc.

  • However, although the above relation has been determined but in reality they are opposite gender and being an opposite gender the sexual desire emerge when the bodies are exposed irrespective of the fact whether she is a daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece or he is a son, father, brother, uncle or nephew.

  • The scholars have derived from the Guidance of Allah that to save the both genders from indulging in satisfying the sexual appetite Allah has revealed following Verses in the Qur’an:-

Translation Surah Al Nur Ayat no 30

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things); and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily Allah is all-Aware of what you do.

Translation Surah Al Nur Ayat no 31 – 33

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts)

and not to show of their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way,

or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, hand cover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e., their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)

and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s father, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e., their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex.

And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.

And marry those among you who are single, (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Salihun (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creature’s needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).

And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His Bounty.

Translation Surah al Ahzab Ayat no 30 – 34

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

O wives of the Prophet! Whoever of you commits an open illegal sexual intercourse, the torment for her will be doubled, and that is ever easy for Allah.

And whosoever of you is obedient to Allah and His Messenger ((SAW), and does righteous deeds, We shall give her, her reward twice over, and We have prepared for her Rizqan Karim (a noble provision –Paradise).

O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allah) then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.

And stay in your houses, and do not display yourselves like that of the time of Jahiliah (ignorance), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah wishes only to remove Ar-Rijis (evil deeds and sins) from you, O members of the family (of the Prophet (SAW)), and to purify you with a thorough purification.

And do Dhikr (remember) (O you the members of the Prophet’s family, the Graces of your Lord), that which is recited in your houses of the Ayats of Allah and al-Hikmah (i.e. Prophet’s Sunnah –legal ways so give your thanks to Allah and glorify His Praises for this Qur’an and Sunnah). Verily, Allah is Ever Most Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things.

  • Now let us make an analysis of the above Ayats of the Qur’an as how their context and substance is applicable since Day One to the Day of Resurrection, especially, in this day of age.

No 1

  • The first contact establishes between man and woman is through eyes where message is communicated. In view of this the following Ayat applies:

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

An tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts

  • The context and substance of the above Ayats apply that should the opposite gender comes across one another they should lower their gaze so that the sexual desires are not aroused and message is not communicated.

No 2

  • The sexual desires are aroused when the masculine gender views the body of the feminine gender and vice versa. In view of this the woman are commanded to cover their bodies where the following Ayat of the Qur’an applies:

and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron), and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks, and bosoms).

  • [It has been observed the Queen wears gloves when she comes in public or meets to foreign contemporaries].

No 3

  • The body parts that can be exposed to the Mahram i.e. the people the woman cannot marry are:

    • face,

    • hands,

  • feet.

  • The other parts of the body must also be covered before:

    • father,
    • brother,
    • uncle,
  • husband’s father
  • etc.

  • The Hikmah (prudence) appear to be that as the sexual feelings are aroused by looking at the body parts of the woman irrespective whether she is a daughter, sister, and mother and otherwise, this has to be stopped.

The Hikmah (prudence) of this Ayat is apparent in this day of age as the body parts are not covered there are numerous incidents of having sex with real daughters, daughter in laws, nieces etc. Moreover, this has given rise to child abuse, paedophilia, homosexuality, lesbianism, pornography etc. etc.

No 4

  • The voice of woman also plays the part to arouse the sexual desires. In this case the context and substance of the following Ayat of the Qur’an applies:

O wives of the Prophet! You are not like any other women. If you keep your duty (to Allah) then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner.

  • In this Ayat the address is to the wives of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

  • The scholars elaborate that the Hikmah of addressing the wives of the Prophet (SAW) is that in spite of the fact they are mothers of the whole of Muslim Ummah but the opposite gender can develop a feeling of sexual desires if they are soft in their speech with them. This is why they are asked to speak in ‘Huskiness’ manner so that nobody develops illicit feelings.

  • The scholars further elaborate that the substance of this Ayat applied to both men and women as this has been addressed to the wives of the Last Prophet Mohammed (SAW), who are Mothers of the whole of mankind, where the message to mother means message to her offspring.

No 5

  • In order to use their faculties, abilities and capabilities the women are asked to stay at home and learn the Guidance of Allah to bring up, educate the masonries of the nation. This aspect is mentioned in the following Ayat of the Qur’an:

Prophet’s Sunnah –legal ways so give your thanks to Allah and glorify His Praises fir this Qur’an and Sunnah). Verily, Allah is Ever Most Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things.

No 6

  • To save one self from the sexual desires and wishes the guardian of the children are asked to marry them where they can live a normal life.

CONCLUSION

  • If the context and substance of the above Ayats of the Qur’an is looked in with an eagle eye, it will be seen that the base of digression is emergence of the sexual desires and wishes where every loophole is closed that leads to being unsuccessful in the life hereafter.

Brothers and Sisters! Now let us make an analysis what gave rise to bring the woman into the streets i.e.

  • The man enjoys an overall superiority over woman.

  • Being stronger than woman he is in a position to dominate her. However, to dominate her he has used different tactics. To have his lustful desires fulfilled he inspired the woman gender:

    • to work in offices, so that his lustful desires; looking at her, talking with her etc. are fulfilled,

    • to dress in skirts, half sleeve blouse, tight trousers so that he can look at the body parts in their original shape,

    • to put her on the advertisement media to sell his products where she is photographed in different poses and with the passage of time every part of her body is exposed,

    • to bring her to the casinos to run his Casinos profitably,

    • to bring in the shops as salesman to increase his sales

    • etc.

  • Now this man has so much polluted woman’s mind that he does not have to ask or inspire her to come in the streets, she is ready to offer her services herself at a very low prices which is apparent, like a daylight in this age i.e.

    • is there any newspaper which does not have a seductive photograph of a woman on the front and inner pages?

    • is there a magazine which is not full of female pictures in different poses?

    • is there any TV programme which does not have the element of sex in it?

    • is there any advertisement in the streets which does not have a seductive photograph of a woman?

    • etc.

The similar kind of situation had developed 1400 years ago. Allah (SWT) had Mercy on the mankind and commissioned the Last Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW), Who with His (Allah) Grace, determined the Rights of Woman based on the Guidance of Allah where she was put at the height of Morality and became Woman of the House where she was bringing up the offspring of our forefather Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and building up their personality and character to be masonries of the nation.

In other words she was following the Guidance of Allah as per the above Ayats of the Qur’an.

  • Woman is not under obligation to earn a living. The husband is under obligation to look after her in every respect. If she has to go out of the house:

    • how there could be a family atmosphere in the house?

    • how the children can be looked after?

    • how the personality and characters of the children could be built?

    • how the politics of the house could be administered?

    • how husbands can receive due respect?

    • how the elements of respect, love and affections can be developed among the family members and the mankind?

    • etc.

  • At this point in time the whole world is entangled in disparity, unrest, wars, defence, abductions, infringement of rights, unemployment, family disunity, crimes, murders, rapes, child abuse, paedophilia etc. etc. The simple solution is, though difficult to act upon, is give the woman her rights i.e. she should stay at home and then the world will see:

    • there shall be no unemployment,

    • the night clubs and casinos shall be deserted,

    • the public houses shall be closed,

    • the goods and services will be cheap,

    • in this age the goods are so much in abundance that the manufacturers will not find a place to dump them,

    • the TV and radio programmes will be cut down,

    • the newspapers will consist of only a few pages,

    • the mobile phone industry will come to a standstill,

    • the electronic industry will come to a halt, because the research and development in the creation of new goods and services shall not be required any more,

    • the financial institutions will have reduced level of activity,

    • there shall be no wars and expenditure on defence,

    • car industry will flop,

    • roads will be empty, there will be no congestion charges,

    • there will be no big mansion. It was the love of his wife that Shah Jahan build Taj Mahel that took twelve years to complete with no limit to the resources,

    • hotels will be deserted,

    • restaurants will be deserted,

    • etc.

  • It is proclaimed by the so called rich countries that we are living in are civilised world because of the progress in scientific technology where:

    • man has set a foot on the moon,

    • discoveries has been made in the universe,

    • modules have reached on Mars,

    • information can travel by the wink of an eye,

    • distances have been reduced because of progress in aviation,

    • space stations have been built,

    • etc.

Brothers and Sisters! But what Moral Values have been given by the so called civilised methods?

  • There are news of:
  • rape, murders, child abuse, paedophilia,

  • homosexuality and lesbianism have been given legal status in most of the western countries,
  • use of intoxicant in on the rise,
  • gambling is in every corner,
  • murders are daily routine,
  • civil wars,
  • corruption at high level to low level,
  • heads of the states indulged in corruption, adultery and otherwise,
  • smuggling of goods: heroin, cannabis, alcoholic drinks, tobacco products,
  • human trafficking,
  • etc.

Brothers and Sisters! Let the woman stay at home and there will be:

  • family atmosphere,

  • children shall be well behaved and properly educated,
  • no crimes,
  • mankind will become like a One Unit i.e. a big family,
  • the TV and radio will be relaying the Praises of Allah,
  • the Masjids and worship places will be full of people,
  • the element of conceit and pride shall be eliminated,
  • the roads, streets will be clear of any rubbish,
  • the elements of respect, love and affection shall be prevailing.
  • etc.

Brothers and Sisters! Now let us come to the issue which Jack Straw, the leader of the House of Commons, previously, Home and Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, raised that Muslim women should not wear Niqab as he finds it difficult to communicate with them where he is not in a position to comprehend the subject matter.

  • It is natural phenomenon that when two people are in conversation, face to face, both can appreciate each other’s concern if they can make an eye to eye contact as eyes reflect the true feelings and expression of mind.

  • However, where there is chance of digressing from the subject matter for some reason or the other then this rule has to be dispense with.

  • As mentioned above man and woman are contrary to each other so the first thing which will, naturally, shall emerge will be feelings of Sensual Appetite just like when magnetic and iron come across each other. Although, in view of the subject matter, these feelings shall be put aside but they never go away unless they are overpowered.

  • To overpower such feelings Allah has given the Guidance in the Qur’an to both men and women:

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things),

  • As men and women have been commanded to lower their gaze so that they should not look each other, the best way is to talk with each other where there is curtain between the two. This aspect has been revealed in the Qur’an.

Translation Surah Al Ahzab Ayat no 53

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

And when you ask (his wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen; that is purer for your hearts and their hearts.

  • In view of the above it is unethical to ask a woman to take her veil off while speaking with her. Therefore Jack Straw is wrong to ask women to take off their veil when he is speaking with them or anybody else who want the women to take off their Niqab.

Brothers and Sisters! The questions arises why majority of the Muslim women have dispense with Hijab while it is clearly mentioned in the Qur’an, in which they believe in, that Muslim women must cover their bodies and do not mix with the male gender who are Non Mahram (the men she cannot marry with) for them.

  • There is only one way of life, Deen e Islam that was given to our forefather Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and this has continued to be given to the forthcoming Prophets until the Last Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah SAW).

  • Hazrat Musa (PBUH) and Hazrat Essa (PBUH) were also given Deen e Islam but this was identified as Judaism and Christianity because of the dynasty and personal name. They are called People of the Book i.e. the Heavenly Books which are from Allah who is the Lone Entity where there is no question that Allah will give His Books with different context and substance while the whole of mankind is offspring of Hazrat Adam (PBUH).

Brothers and Sisters! Now the question arises if the Books: Taurat and Bible are from Allah why they contain different values and are not compatible with the Word of Allah, the Qur’an?

  • The Qur’an is Word of Allah and there cannot be change in its text, context and substance as Allah Himself has assumed the responsibility to protect and preserve It.

  • The other Books: Taurat, Bible and otherwise are Guidance of Allah, one can assume, in a draft form where anybody can make a change or add or subtract its text, context and substance. This is the reason no book other than the Qur’an is in its original language. Even this is not known in which language these were revealed.

  • Under the influence of the Sensual Appetite the scholars of the respective faiths made changes and adaptations in the Books and then proclaimed these are from Allah. This fact has been revealed in the Qur’an:

Translation Surah Al Baqrah Ayat no 79

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Then woe to them who write the Book with their own hands and then say,” this is from Allah,” to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby.

  • In the previous Books of Allah there was a clear revelation that the Last Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) named Ahmad will be commissioned but the scholars appear or have erased that revelation. The Qur’an reveals that the forthcoming of the Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) was mentioned in Taurat and Bible:

Translation Surah As Saff Ayat no 6

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

And (remember) when Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), said: O children of Israel! I am Messenger of Allah to you, confirming the Taurat [(Torah) which came] before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad. But when he (Ahmad i.e. Mohammed (SAW)) came to them with clear proofs, they said: “This is plain magic”.

  • Moreover in the Qur’an Allah has revealed that all the Prophets had entered in Covenant with Allah that they will believe in the Last Prophet and help Him (SAW) in His Mission i.e. Promotion of Islam, where Allah has been Witness Himself.

Translation Surah Al Imran Ayat no 81

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

And (remember) when Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying:

“Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allah), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Mohammed (SAW)) confirming what is with you; you must then, believe in him and help him.”

Allah said: “Do you agree (to it) and will you take up My covenant (which I conclude with you)?”

The said: “We agree.”

           He (Allah) said:

“then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses (for this).

  • Allah (SWT) has also revealed in the Qur’an that the People of the Book recognise the Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) as the Last Prophet, but being rigid they do not want to believe in Him (SAW):

Translation Surah Al In’am Ayat no 20

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christian) recognise him (i.e. Mohammed (SAW) as a Messenger of Allah, and they also know that there is no Ilah (God) but Allah and Islam is in Allah’s religion), as they recognise their own sons. Those who have lost (destroyed) themselves will not believe.

  • The above revelations are a clear proof that there is only one way of life Deen e Islam given by the Lone Entity of Allah (SWT) but it is the human beings who have disputed and got segregated in different sect because of their rigidness and otherwise. This aspect is also revealed in the Qur’an:

Translation Surah Al Baqrah Ayat no 213

In the Name of Allah,

the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful

Mankind were one community and Allah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them He sent down the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed. And only those to whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it after clear proofs had come unto them through hatred, one to another. Then Allah by His Leave guided those who believed to the truth of that wherein they differed. And Allah guides who He wills to the Straight Path.

  • The scholars of Judaism and Christianity, likewise they made changes and adaptations in the Guidance of Allah to suit to their Sensual Appetite they also brought the Paganistic Values in their day to day lives and promoted them extensively.

  • It is the Paganistic mentality that led them to make changes and adaptations in the Guidance of Allah. The Last Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) changed the Paganistic mentality of the Arabs that led to the Revival of Deen e Islam over 2.5 million square miles with a short period of 12 ½ years of Khilafat e Rashidah. When Muslim Ummah started digressing from the Right Path their Paganistic mentality reverted and they started following the Paganistic Values already established by the scholars of Judaism and Christianity.

One of the Paganistic Values is to take the veil off where it can be seen in the Muslim countries the whole structure of Politics is based on the Paganistic Values.

  • The people with Paganistic Mentality want the few women who observe the Islamic Values i.e. wear Niqab; they are forced to take off the Niqab, where they had to lose their job. The recent examples are of the teacher Shabana Azmi who has been sacked and a solicitor who has been taken off the case she was representing in the court of law. Moreover, the government of France has put a ban in the state schools to wear Hijab.

It is generally thought that it is the woman who is under an obligation to cover her face and body and the men do not have to, while this is not the case.

  • The man is given Natural Hijab i.e. the beard. The beard on the face covers the feature of the face and only cheeks, nose, forehead and eyes are left open. Men are also required to cover their heads as well with a scarf or otherwise. This can be seen in Arab countries that they keep beard and the scarf is always on their heads. Moreover, when we look at African countries and Afghanistan and the people of the provinces Baluchistan and Sarhad the men keep beard and their heads are covered with turbans or otherwise. The men are under obligation to cover their whole body except under certain circumstances where it becomes hindrance in search of the Bounties of Allah (SWT).

  • Every man is under obligation to keep beard. When one shaves the beard he is shaving away the Natural Niqab Allah has given him and he loses his identity as a man and resembles to women where the beard is not grown on her face. In other words he starts looking like a woman.

CONCLUSION

Brothers and Sisters!

  • The conclusion boils down to be that woman’s place is at her home except under certain exceptional circumstances that she has to come out of the house. And when she has to, she has to abide by the Guidance of Allah.

  • Similarly, the men are required to stay at home other than when they have to go out of the house in search of the Bounties of Allah. If they remain out of the house without any reason they will be accountable on the Day of Judgement. This aspect can be judged from our day to day life that when husband does not return home with the appointed time, he is questioned by woman of the house what took him so long not to return home at the usual time.

The ultimate conclusion is make the woman, Woman of the House, then the Waves of Peace and Harmony and Serenity of mind shall be forthcoming and this world will have a heavenly atmosphere.

  • The authorities are petitioned that issue an ordinance to all the organisations; business, casinos, night clubs, civil service, hotels, restaurants and otherwise to put the women on leave for one week with a condition that they will remain at home and they should be paid for that week in advance. Then you can see the results as mentioned above. Before the women go on leave, temporary staff of male gender should be hired.

  • Then work out the statistics about the:

    • crimes committed,

    • incidents of rape,

  • incidents of murders,

  • incidents of cheats and deceptions,

  • incidents of smuggling,

  • the level of consumption of intoxicants,

  • turnover of gambling,

  • prices of the property,

  • number of loans from the financial institutions,

  • sale of newspapers, magazines etc.

  • sale of pornographic material,

  • sale of condoms,

  • turnover of restaurants,

  • bookings in the hotels,

  • number of vacancies for the jobs available,

  • etc.

  • With due respect, the authorities who want the few women who want to live their lives in accordance with the Islamic Values:

    • why they do not ask their wives and daughters to be unfaithful to their husbands?

    • why they do not ask their wives and daughters to pose for the pornographic magazines?

  • When an authority is exposed about his wrong doings in public, why it is exposed to the public, if it was not considered immoral?

May Allah help the mankind to recognise Him.

MESSAGE TO MUSLIM UMMAH

Mothers

  • Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) is Khatim ul Anbiyya and His wives are Mothers of the Muslim Ummah. Likewise in this day of the children listen to their mothers, similarly, the Woman of the House has to follow the footsteps of Um ul Mo’mineen (mothers of Muslim Ummah). The life of Um ul Mo’mineen was in accordance with the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW). Please determine your way of life on their footsteps. The first step is to observe Niqab i.e. Hijab and the doors shall keep opening to the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

Fathers

  • You are a masculine gender where Allah has given you a Natural Hijab i.e. the beard. Why you deny the Blessings of Allah and look like your counterpart who is a woman? Likewise women that they only can go out of the house when they are required to, similar provisos are applicable to you. You are under an obligation to look after the needs of your family and otherwise, where you have been given leave to search for the Bounties of Allah. As soon as the search is over, please come back home and help the Woman of the House in the brought up of the children and also give helping hand in the household activities.

Ulema

  • Alhamdu’lillah! You are heir of the Last Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW). The Word of Allah, the Qur’an is Guidance until the Day of Resurrection, and the changing circumstances, with the passage of time, are to be brought on lines of the Qur’an and Hadith and not that, Allah forbid, Qur’an and Hadith be changed with the changing circumstances.

  • In this day of age the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) are at a standstill because those are not applied to the changing circumstances and the issues which emerge in everyday of the human life.

For Example:

No 1

  • Pope Benedict made certain reservations based on the statement of Byzantine Emperor in his address to the students of the university in Germany:

Show me just what Mohammed (SAW) brought that was new, and there you will find things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.

  • I have been reading the newspapers, listening to the news where the views were given that it was wrong for Pope Benedict to make reference to Byzantine emperor’s statement and he must apologies for it.

  • With due respect to whole of Muslim Ummah, especially, the scholars, nobody responded to the charges made in respect of the personality and character of the Khatim ul Anbiyya Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) except asking for an apology.

  • The natural phenomenon is that when a charge is made without any foundation it has to be responded with reason.

  • With the Grace of Allah (SWT), I made an analysis of Pope Benedict’s lecture as a response to the reservations in his statement where it is proved that under the light of the Qur’an and Hadith that the Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) in fact:

    • eradicated the axes of evils: illicit intercourse, use of intoxicants, gambling, financial interest etc.

    • brought the aspect of humanity at the optimum level,

    • Deen e Islam was revived on the basis of Morality and not by the sword.

  • The copies of the articles ware sent, virtually, all over the world saved in the CDs and through e mail i.e. heads of the muslim and non muslim states, high commissioners of the muslim consulates and otherwise, media, ulema, daral uloom, universities, Church of England, Vatican City i.e. Pope Benedict, friends, relatives etc. etc. The irony is that I have not received a single response from any side not even acknowledgement except two.

  • I sent a copy of the CD to an Alim. After two weeks I met him and asked if he has read the article: Analysis of Pope Benedict’s Lecture?

  • He said:

I have not had a time to read it.

  • I said:

It is hot issue of the day and reservations have been made in respect of the personality and character of the Khatim ul Anbiyya Hazrat Mohammed (SAW), how you cannot find time to read it and promote it in the inner and outer circle so that the misconceptions about the personality and character of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) are clarified which in fact is Introduction, Revival and Promotion of Islam?

  • He said:

It is time for Hajj. The time is taken to educate the people who are going for Hajj. Moreover, we are so busy that we cannot take responsibility to promote other people’s projects.

  • I believe, this is the reason where I have not received any reply from ulema, daral ulooms and otherwise.

No 2

  • The issue of Niqab raised by the Leader of the House of Commons Jack Straw became the worldwide issue. It attracted attention because the government of France has put a ban on the State schools to wear Hijab.

  • Although, I have been reading the newspapers, listening to the news, but to my knowledge no constructive statement have been made to prove that the women are under obligation to wear Hijab under the light of the Qur’an and Hadith.

  • With the Grace of Allah, I have written this article taking a different approach based on the Hikmah of Allah (SWT) on the subject of Niqab. Likewise the article: An Analysis of Pope Benedict’s Lecture, the copies of this article shall be sent all over the world and see what response is received.

Brothers and Sisters

  • This life is for such a short time that one cannot imagine. Try to judge this on the basis of following incident:

The module sent some pictures from Mars. There was a tiny spot on the photograph which the onlooker considered as a particle of dust and brushed it aside with no avail. When he looked at that carefully he discovered it is earth.

  • Can one establish a ratio of the size of the earth with the universe? However, a ratio can be established with millions of zeros as there are limits of the universe.

On the basis of time scale, the life of the universe is from Azal i.e. Day One to infinity. The life span of a human life on average is not more the, let us say 70 years, though as per narrations the life span had been around 1000 years or thereabout. But, even 1000 years or 100,000 years cannot establish a ratio with a time scale that runs to infinity.

  • Are we not lucky to have a life span of 70 years or thereabout as it has 1:14 ratio with 1000 years, where we just have to live our lives in accordance with the Guidance of Allah and Teachings of the Prophet Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) and then for infinity we live a life by fulfilling our wishes and desires with the Bounties of Allah which no eye has seen, no mind can imagine and no ear has heard along with the Blessings
    of Allah (SWT)?

Brothers and Sister! Non Muslims are also Ummah of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW). Muslim Ummah is a guide for them. Under the light of the sermons of the Ulema every Muslim will be asked on the Day of Judgement what efforts he had made to be a guide for the non Muslims to show them the way towards the Straight Path that leads to secure the Raza of Allah (SWT) to be successful in the life hereafter?

Brothers and Sisters!

  • The success for this world and the life hereafter lays in Morality.

  • The aspect of Morality lies in honesty and integrity.

  • Honesty and integrity is judged in Business Dealings and otherwise.

  • To learn about the Business Dealings the mankind has to follow the Life of the Khatim ul Anbiyya Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) Who was educated and trained by Allah (SWT) for the first forty years of His (SAW) life before He (SAW) was commissioned as the Last Prophet, where he said: (the nearest meaning are):

I have been commissioned

to accomplish

Morality.

May Allah help us to appreciate our

duty and responsibility

towards the betterment of mankind

and ourselves.

Please Remember in Dua’as

Wass’a’lam
