Assalam o Alleyykum

Alhamdu’lillah! With the Toffeeq of Allah I read the book in Urdu language: Qur’an and Jadeed Science by Professor Dr Fazal Kareem. I am sure you must be aware of the personality of Prof. Dr. Fazal Kareem.

Farooq Sahib! As I was reading the book the context of the Hadith kept emerging in mind which is applicable to Scientists. The context of the Hadith is:

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

Farooq Sahib! Ulema e Karam elaborate the context: may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly that as the age will keep on changing so the people will be able to apply Islamic Values in their lives as per the changed circumstances as Deen e Islam is to remain until the Day of Resurrection.

Farooq Sahib! The Foundation Stone of Deen e Islam is Lone Entity of Allah. So the first and foremost requirement is to believe in Allah and admit His (SWT) existence.

Farooq Sahib! As Entity of Allah is in Ghaib (unseen) so one has to look for circumstantial evidence in order to believe in Allah and His (SWT) Greatness and Magnificence so that he can submit to Him (SWT) as the purpose of creation of mankind is to submit to Him (SWT) which is revealed in the Qur’an:

Translation Surah Adh Dhariyat Ayatno. 56

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

And I (Allah) created not the Jinn and mankind

except that they should submit to Me (Alone)

Farooq Sahib! Allah has revealed in the Qur’an to the mankind to ponder within himself and the universe if they want to find the circumstantial evidence about the existence of Lone Entity of Allah. As below are the respective Ayats of the Qur’an:

Translation Surah Adh Dhariyat Ayat no. 20 – 21

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

And on the earth are signs for those who have faith with certainty. And also (signs) in your ownselves. Will you not then see?

Translation Surah Al Imran Ayat no. 190

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alteration of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of wisdom.

Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat no.185

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Do they not look in the domain of heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created; and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe?

Translation Surah Al Jathiyah  Ayat no.12 – 13

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.

Farooq Sahib! The context and substance of the Surah Adh Dhariyat Ayat no 20 and 21 asks for to look within the human body structure.

Farooq Sahib! In short, it were the scientists who made research of the human body where each and every limb, vein, artery, part of the body has been analyzed and their functions discovered where there has been enormous scientific progress in medical field about which you are aware of.

Farooq Sahib! The rest of the Ayats inspire human mind to ponder the universes. In short, scientists made research of the universes which has resulted in innovation of Hubble telescope, man has set foot on moon and modules are sent on Mars and there have been many discoveries about creations of universe e.g. stars, galaxies, planets and their role upon the environments of the universe. Farooq Sahib! Being a physicist you are aware of it.

Farooq Sahib! As the discoveries of the nature and human body were made by the scientists, therefore, they were in a position to expose the existence of Allah and His Greatness and Magnificence effectively by attributing everything to Allah.

Farooq Sahib! I think there should be a compulsory subject: Allah Exists at every level of education and gradually it should be advanced likewise other subjects.

Farooq Sahib! When I was reading the book: Qur’an and Jadeed Science by Prof. Dr. Fazal Kareem my mind diverted towards you where I thought that you are in the best position to introduce revive and promote Deen e Islam all over the world until the Day of Resurrection on the following bases:

·       you are a physicist and your wife holds doctorate in chemical engineering and your son is studying aeronautical engineering

·       you are chairman of COMSATS university where students are on the road to being scientists

·       COMSATS university has affiliation with all the universities of Pakistan and also in foreign countries

Farooq Sahib! In this age of technology the Message of Allah can be conveyed by the click of a finger all over the universe i.e. through websites, emails etc.

Farooq Sahib! We have discussed that Deen e Islam is a Way of Life which means that our day to day life has to be in accordance with the Guidance of Allah. To learn about the Guidance of Allah the first requirement is to secure ILM (Knowledge) and the first revelation was to this effect i.e. secure ILM:

Translation Surah Al Alaq Ayat no. 1 – 5

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists)

He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood)

Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.

Who has taught (the writing) by the pen.

Who has taught man that which he knew not.

Farooq Sahib! Allah has stressed twice: Read. When one reads it is reduced in writing which is reflected in Ayat no. 4: Pen and one learns which he does not know and this is reflected in Ayat no. 5: Knew not

Farooq Sahib! Students go to schools, colleges and universities to learn what they did not know and this process goes on and on in every moment of life by reading, observing and experimenting.

Farooq Sahib! Anbiyya e Karam used to be commissioned to convey the Message of Allah and they were under obligation to do so. Allah has warned them in the Qur’an that if they will not convey His (SWT) Message then they will be held negligent where they will be accountable on the Day of Judgment:

Translation Surah Al Ma’idah  Ayat no. 67

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

O Messenger (Mohammed (SAW))! Proclaim (deliver the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message.

Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve.

Farooq Sahib! Ulema e Karam deduced from the context of the above Ayat that this Command of Allah also applies to the Umaties of Khatim ul Anbiyya (SAW) in the sense that whoever is in a position to convey the Message of Allah he is under obligation to do so.

Farooq Sahib! I believe it is under the context of the above Ayat that I became under obligation to tell you, being a scientist, you are under obligation to promote Allah’s Cause as you are in a position to do so.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Call for Peace is based on Qur’an and Hadith where it constitutes Message of Allah.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! You had read some of the articles and you agreed that the approach to introduce, revive and promote Deen e Islam is scientific which will appeal to human mind in this age.

Farooq Sahib! However, the circumstantial evidence depicts that your scientific mind has overpowered your spiritual mind where there has been no co – operation from your side although you had promised that you will help to bring Call for Peace on the scene.

Farooq Sahib! When I was reading the book: Qur’an and Jadeed Science Prof. Dr Fazal Kareem wrote to the effect which implies that when a scientific mind does not see any outcome of the theory and experiment then he abandons it.

Farooq Sahib! Although everyone agrees that Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause but as there has not been an outcome so scientific mind tells it is not workable and therefore no one came forward to promote it.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause and if you look at the history then you will see that it took considerable time before there had been an outcome when Anbiyya e karam used to be commissioned.

Farooq Sahib! Scientific mind assumes that it is the responsibility of the founder of the project to grow the outcome. This is why whomever I speak with his remarks are to the effect: hope you are successful in your mission.

Farooq Sahib! But Call for Peace is not my mission. It is mission of Allah. Allah has revealed in the Qur’an to this effect:

Translation Surah Al Baqrah Ayat no. 272

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Not upon you (Mohammad (SAW)) is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills…..

Farooq Sahib! As below is the elaboration by Molana Sadar ud din Islahi in his book: Assas e Deen Ki Tameer:

Whether it is Da’ee of Haq or Da’ee of Batil, Allah (SWT) has not invested them with power other than that both can invite towards their teachings. Anbiyya e Karam have not been invested with power where they can inject Hidaya (Guidance) in the heart of anybody nor Shaitan is invested with power that he can digress anybody from Right Path. Both of them have the option that they can invite or call the mankind towards their own ways.  

Farooq Sahib! In view of the above the responsibility of the outcome does not lie upon me. However, my responsibility being Umati of Khatim ul Anbiyya (SAW) is to make analysis of the current affairs and assess if those are dealt with under the light of Qur’an and Hadith and then write articles accordingly.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Research over 25 years has revealed that how every action of day to day life can become Ibadaah where one has not to do anything additional other than to offer As Salat five times a day. I have discussed this issue with you and concluded that Artistic and Scientific education is also elaboration of Qur’an and Hadith. However, it cannot become Ibadaah unless and until there is intention behind it.

Farooq Sahib! What students have to be told is to make intention; they do not have to make any changes in their life. Alhamdu’lillah! Call for Peace has written articles the study of which can appeal to Artistic and Scientific mind.

Farooq Sahib! With due respect, unknowingly you have been indifferent to project: Call for Peace on the following bases:

·       On your visit to England we talked about issues surrounding the world and you gave me the impression that you will help me to bring project: Call for Peace on the scene after you had read three articles on the subjects of Islam, Ibadaahs and Politics.

·       After a discussion with your wife on environments I wrote an article on the subject and emailed you in order to have a feed back.

·       I emailed you a few articles so that these appeal to your scientific mind and inspire you to shoulder Call for Peace

·       I wrote an article: Ibadaah: Base of Success in this world and Life Hereafter and emailed you on 14 January 2012.

·       On 7 February 2012 I sent you an email to place set of books in the COMSATS university libraries in order to arrange payment of mortgage installment starting in May 2012 to save the house form repossession by the bank.

Farooq Sahib!

 I have not heard from you.

Farooq Sahib! Mankind has been sent in this world for a test, therefore, Shaitan is always there to lure the people where they either become indifferent to Cause of Allah or postpone it for a later date.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! You are chairman of COMSATS University where your time is occupied in dealing with your duty and responsibility as chairman plus you are busy in the preparation of your daughter’s marriage.

Farooq Sahib! Allah has revealed in the Qur’an to the effect that Allah’s Cause must be given preference:

Translation Surah Al Anfal Ayat no.24

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) messenger when He (SAW) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily, to Him you shall (all) be gathered.

Farooq Sahib! As below is Hadith which is elaboration of the above Verse.

Hadith

Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Mu’alla I was praying in the Masjid, Allah’s Messenger (SAW) called me but I did not respond to Him (SAW).:

Later I said: O Allah’s Messenger! I was praying.

He said: Didn’t Allah say: answer Allah (by obeying Him) and His Messenger when He (SAW) calls you.

(Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 6 Hadith no. 1)

Farooq Sahib! In fact, they study of the article and placing the set of books is also part of your job as chairman of COMSATS University. However, on the face value although it may not be part of the constitution of the university but you were under obligation to give this job preference being Allah’s Cause.

Farooq Sahib! Allah is Aleem. Allah Knows among his Bandahs who is in a position to promote His (SWT) Cause. So He (SWT) wants him to assume this responsibility.

Farooq Sahib! Allah had given you the opportunity to realise when you visited England and read articles. But as Shaitan did not let you think about it so these letters from me were reminder by Allah to you. In fact it was Allah’s Command to you to read article and have consultation with your administration and also to place the set of books in the libraries of COMSATS University.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Qur’an is comprehensive book in every respect. In the Qur’an Allah has revealed the end of the people who have been indifferent to His (SWT) Message or rejected the Message altogether. In this respect the examples are:

·       Fir’aun

·       Qaroon

·        Torments sent on to digressed people

·       Etc.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! You are aware of it.

Farooq Sahib! In this day of age why there are so many catastrophes in the form of:

·       tornadoes

·       floods

·       earthquakes

·       high velocity winds

·       self made atrocities e.g. terrorist attacks, suicidal attacks

·       etc.

Farooq Sahib! These are signs of those catastrophes which were upon the digressed people more than 1400 years ago.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! The object of project: Call for Peace is to make the mankind realise that they have digressed from the Right Path.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause and Alhamdu’lillah it has backing of Allah where it has been alive for the last 25 years where there have been little resources at my disposal. The people who has helped this cause Allah has Blessed them and people who have been indifferent Allah has cursed them or given them warning.

Farooq Sahib! The circumstantial evidence depicts that you have been indifferent to project: Call for Peace where I have highlighted the bases earlier in this letter. So I give you examples of the people who have been indifferent to Call for Peace unknowingly and unconsciously.

No 1

Farooq Sahib! First I tell you about our mutual friend Tariq Latif. Alhamdu’lillah! He is good natured, responsible person. But his slight indifference has caused him downfall for about four years.

Farooq Sahib!

·       The event of his indifference was that once I went to London to update the website from the person he introduced me.

·       He had rented a house. The sitting room and dining room was vacant where he could accommodate me likewise he accommodated me on my previous visit.

·       This time he did not accommodate me and arranged for my accommodation with one of his friends. He also made an objection which he should not have made.

Farooq Sahib!  You are aware that since that time Allah had put him under tests. He resigned from his job, he could not get another job and debts were mounting on him, he went to Dubai where he could not settle, he went to Pakistan and you interviewed him for a job, he had to sell his family home. Being chairman of COMSATS University you were in a position to offer him a job but it was not Allah’s Will and then he left Pakistan for Canada and in transit he stayed in London.

Farooq Sahib! He got a job to set up a college. But the administration treated him very badly. Even they were not paying him £500 per month regularly.

Farooq Sahib! When I spoke with him over the phone his confidence was completely shattered. In short, I asked him to come to Manchester to revive his confidence.

Farooq Sahib! He came to Manchester and I learned about his hard times.

Farooq Sahib! At the time I was desperate to set up websites so that I could bring Call for Peace on the scene.

Farooq Sahib! In short, he helped me to register the domain names, pursued his friend to host websites, he learned to administer websites and he taught me to administer websites.

Farooq Sahib! This was the start of his revival. He went to Canada in July 2011.

Farooq Sahib! As soon as he landed in Canada his jobs were done on fast track basis:

He got a job in a store, he passed the test to drive school bus which made him self-supporting where his confidence started to revive, he made application for the visa of his wife and last week Alhamdu’lillah he got job in his own field.

Conclusion

Farooq Sahib! The conclusion is that his indifference to project: Call for Peace has caused him distress for four years. Alhamdu’lillah! It is the Call for Peace which has revived his confidence.

No 2

Farooq Sahib! One of my relatives, who were well off, refused to lend me money for the publication of a book. They were told about the scope of Call for Peace.

Farooq Sahib! As below are the consequences they had to face:

·       They sold the shop which has been the cause of their being well off.

·       They invested £1million in a franchise of KFC like in the centre of the city centre.

·       Everything was settled. Before the opening some gang entered in the premises and smashed everything. They had refurbished it but after a year they had to close it down.

·       They bought a house in Lahore as their holiday home. But after one year they had to sell it at a great loss.

Farooq Sahib! The object of mentioning the above examples is to make you aware that Allah does not leave alone who becomes indifferent to His (SWT) Cause.

Farooq Sahib! There are many other examples where the people who were indifferent they had to suffer either financially, disunity among the family, unexpected hazards etc.

Farooq Sahib! People who supported Call for Peace they have been Blessed either financially, recovery from fatal accidents, reconciliation, expansion of business.

Farooq Sahib! Assess yourself how you have been Blessed: How?

Farooq Sahib! In the year 2006 when you learned about that with the Grace of Allah I have composed books, you asked me to bring the books to place in the library of COMSATS University.

MY OBLIGATION

Farooq Sahib! Being Principal of Call for Peace I was under obligation to warn you that the circumstantial evidence depicted that you have become indifferent to Call for Peace as you did not respond to my letters where I represented you to take steps to introduce Call for Peace to COMSATS University and also place set of books at the libraries of university which will help to save the house which has become centre point of Call for Peace from repossession by the bank.

Farooq Sahib! As I was worried about the repossession of the house, Allah put this in mind to write to you. Why Allah wanted to write to you? Because Allah Knew that He (SWT) has Blessed you with the position where Message of Allah can start to flow and spread in the whole world until the Day of Resurrection.

Farooq Sahib! However, Allah’s resources are unlimited. If you will not come forward then Allah with His Grace will make some other arrangements. It was His (SWT) exclusive Blessings:

·       When there was only one hour left where the Bailiffs would have come to repossess the house Allah made arrangements of £15,000 to pay the arrears and thereafter arrangement for four years payment of monthly installment were made.

·       When the gentleman could not make any further arrangements then Allah made the bank propose to pay interest only for one year.

BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Farooq Sahib! No doubt you are aware that it is Sunnah of Allah to give warnings as there are examples in the Qur’an. Allah cannot give warnings directly because He (SWT) is Ghaib. Allah used to give warnings through His (SWT) Anbiyya. So Allah’s Sunnah remains the same. But now He (SWT) gives warning through Umaties of Khatim ul Anbiyya.

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! You are Muslim. It appears to be Shaitan who has lured your mind away. Therefore, before Allah starts to curtail His (SWT) Blessings, I should take steps to deter the curtailment of the Blessings:

·       make intention that you will not be indifferent to Call for Peace

·       consult librarians to place the set of books in the libraries

·       plan to talk with administration how the Message of Allah can start to flow from COMSATS University

LAST WORD

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! You and your wife are highly qualified people and make researches upon the creations of the universe and expose the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah which you are under obligation to tell to the mankind.

Farooq Sahib! I was reading a book in Urdu language: Seerat e Ayesha by Molana Sayed Suleman Nadvi.  In this book the writer has exposed in detail how Hazrat Ayesha (RTU) had taught ILM to the people for 48 years after the departure of Khatim ul Anbiyya (SAW). I believe your wife must read this book. Alhamdu’lillah! She is a talented lady and professor in COMSATS University. She is in the best position to turn scientific education as Deeni Education.

APOLOGIES

Farooq Sahib! I understand that some parts of this letter may offend you for which please accept my apologies. Shaitan is always there who does not waste any time to put in mind that how come an ordinary person dare write such letter to highly qualified person and who is chairman of the university. When a person is designated at high post with the Blessings of Allah there is also guidance that he must realise the point from which he progressed to this stage.

Farooq Sahib! Once Hazrat Omar (RTU) gathered the congregation and said to them when He (RTU) was Ameer ul Mo’mi’neen and the islamic boundaries were over 2.5 million square miles to the effect:

O People! I used to graze camels and my father used to say to me O son of Khatab! You do not know how to graze camels.

People asked Him (RTU)! O Ameer ul Mo’mi’neen! Why you have to say this?

He (RTU) said to the effect: for a moment it crossed my mind that I am head of Islamic state spread over 2.5 million square miles. I wanted to crush this thought as it is form of conceitedness.

Farooq Sahib! This example is a lesson for everybody, especially for those who hold high posts.

DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY OF HEAD OF STATE

Farooq Sahib! Duty and responsibility of Head of the state is summed up in the definition of Politics by Imam Ghazali (RA) as below:

·       ‘Politics’ is to reform public and lead them to the ‘Right Path’ that leads to success in this world and the life hereafter.

·       Politics’ is the ‘Policy’ that creates respect, love, affection, unity among the people.

Farooq Sahib! In short, it is the ILM (Knowledge) which can help to achieve the above objects. Therefore the head of the University is under obligation to prepare the masons of the future.

Farooq Sahib! To prepare the masons of the future Allah has given me Toffeeq to set up websites as below which are in the process of development:

Farooq Sahib! It is Sunnah of Allah that He (SWT) has allocated duties and responsibilities. You must have heard poetry of Alama Iqbal:

بوئے گل پھیلتی کس طرح جو ہوتی نہ نسیم

Farooq Sahib! Educational Centers are the best place to spread ILM.

Farooq Sahib! I understand that some parts of the letters are a bit harsh which can offend the Naffas. But this is Quranic approach. Allah has revealed in the Qur’an that Anbiyya’s role is as Bashir and Nazir as well i.e. glad tidings and warnings 

Translation Surah Al Baqrah Ayat No. 119

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Verily, We have sent you (O Mohammed (SAW)) with the truth (Islam) a bringer of glad tidings (for those who believe in what you brought, that they will enter Paradise) and a Warner (for those who disbelieve in what you brought, that they will enter the Hell-fire). And you will not be asked about the dwellers of the blazing Fire.

Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat No. 188

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

Say (O Mohammed (SAW))”I possess no power over benefit or hurt to myself except as Allah wills. If I had the knowledge of the Ghaib (Unseen), I should have secured for myself an abundance of wealth, and no evil should have touched me. I am but a Warner, and a bringer of glad tidings unto people who believe.

Farooq Sahib! Ulema e Karam have deduced from the context of the above Ayat that it is also responsibility of Umaties that they should keep warning one another should one see other being indifferent to Cause of Allah and also tell him about glad tidings should he promote Cause of Allah.

Farooq Sahib! Glad tiding for you is that should you promote Call for Peace through COMSATS University then rewards shall keep accumulating until the Day of Resurrection.

Farooq Sahib! At present Call for Peace is at vulnerable stage in the sense that I have no recourse to pay monthly mortgage installment due on May 2012. On the face value my only recourse is the sale of books to raise funds. I have written about this in my previous letter.

Farooq Sahib! However, Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause. Alhamdu’lillah! He (SWT) has been looking after it for the last 25 years. If sale of books will not materialize then Insha’allah Allah will make some other arrangements, like He (SWT) made arrangements of £15,000 just an hour before the arrival of Bailiffs, and made bank to propose payment of interest only for one year.

Farooq Sahib! I have written this letter in the capacity of Principal of Call for Peace and not as a friend Naseer Aziz. However, the element of friendship is also part of it because it is also Allah’s Command to warn people who are close: relatives, friends and otherwise:

Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat No. 188

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

And warn your tribe (O Mohammed (SAW)) of near kindred.

CONCLUSION

Farooq Sahib! Alhamdu’lillah! Allah is giving you the opportunity to be pioneer to promote Message of Allah until the Day of Resurrection. Dua’a to Allah is that you avail this opportunity. However, please bear in mind that if you will not avail this opportunity then Allah will give this opportunity to someone else and this fact has been revealed in the Qur’an:

Translation Surah Fatir Ayat No. 16

بسم اللہ الرحمٰن الرحیم

If He willed, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation.

Downfall of Muslim Ummah

Farooq Sahib! In the early period of Revival of Islam Muslims were looking forward for the opportunity to introduce, revive and promote Islam which resulted in spread of Islam over 2.5 million square miles within a short period of 12 ½ years Khilafat e Rashida. But now is the age where Muslims turn a blind eye for the promotion of Islam. Farooq Sahib! It is for this reason I had to create an option: Downfall of Muslim Ummah on website: www.callforpeace.org.uk.
